What is LEGO® Based Play Therapy?
LEGO® Based Play Therapy is a social development program that uses Lego activities to support the development of a wide range of skills, within a group setting. It uses children’s interest and motivation for playing with Lego to help them develop and build on their social and communication skills.
Lego therapy is used to help children to learn skills such as turn taking, sharing, listening, teamwork, problem solving and having conversations with others. Through small groups children interact with each other through collaborative play in a supported environment.
